Hi, i am one of the client used Honda Insurance Package since 2016 for my city and second my jazz 2019.

Just to share experience having accident my jazz in 2019.

I send my car buy own to honda centre in Sungao Petani, you must bring all the form by your own
1. Police report
2. Police result regarding the case
3. Insurans policy
4. Car geran
5.identification card
6. License
7. Third party insuranse policy (get by yourself at JPJ)

ALL THIS must be submited by owner. HIP agent not have runner to help you. Sadly, i need to do it by all my self.

Zura, great question. First Honda is not an insurance company, so you do not need to buy from your car dealer if you were thinking that. You can buy the insurance from any agent that represents one of the following insurance companies: MSIG, Tokio Marine, Berjaya Sompo, Liberty, AIG, Allianz, Etiqa Takaful and Zurich Takaful. If you buy from them, you automatically get the HIP benefits.

We checked out the current offerings of Honda’s Insurance Package it is not much better than any other insurance company. However, if your car would have been older than 4 years than the Betterment Benefit is nice. When your car is older than 4 years than you start paying some % of the repair price, because your car will be better than before. So for older Honda cars, there are some benefits, but they are small.

I am an international student and I have just arrived in Malaysia a few weeks ago. I decided to buy a car covered with insurance to protect it from any unexpected incidents. So far I did not find any good recommendations for an insurance company and I am still looking online and asking around.
