The difference between comprehensive insurance and 3rd party insurance is that during an accident, your insurance company will also pay for the damages of your own car. If you provide us under [email protected] with your vehicle number and IC, we can check the price difference for you. It is a free service from us. So, if you do not need money to buy a new car or to repair your own car, you can buy 3rd party insurance. If however, it is your only car and you would need money to buy a new car, it is better to buy comprehensive.
Most insurance companies have a upper limit like RM10k, because the insurance is too cheap. You can go for MMIP. MMIP does not have a RM10k limit.

How much difference will that make?
Also, insurance company always quote RM10k coverage but the car is not even worth that much.

You can cancel the insurance and the insurance company will pay part of the insurance premium back. We do not have any experience on how easy it is to get the balance back.
When you purchase insurance online, we did not come across a company that offers 3 or 6 months of insurance only.
