Which are the top 10 private hospitals in Malaysia (2018)?

When you get sick or have an accident you want to make sure that you get the best care and treatment possible. Unfortunately, when a hospital is “Private” that does not necessarily mean it is good or better than government hospitals. In this article, we list the private hospitals that are in the top 10 in Malaysia. Take a look at this list first before you decide to visit a private hospital in Malaysia.

In Malaysia, hospitals can be categorized into two types of hospitals. Public hospitals or most often called government hospitals which are managed by the government and primarily for Malaysian citizens. Malaysia has over 130 government hospitals nationwide. You can find the complete list on the Official Portal Ministry of Health MalaysiaPrivate hospitals on the other hand form the private health care system and are owned and controlled by private investors. The quality and the services are generally higher than in government hospitals because the cost is paid by the patient or insurance company and not by the government. Malaysia has over 300 private hospitals nationwide. You can find a complete list of private hospitals with reviews and ratings on our Review & Ratings webpage.

Over the years, Malaysia’s Health Care System has significantly improved. This is thanks to the substantial support given by the government through investments in medical infrastructures alongside well-trained medical personnel. However, finding the best hospital can be difficult in Malaysia. Many people prefer a private hospital over a government hospital.

Therefore, this article only considers the list of the top ten private hospitals in Malaysia based on reviews provided by the Malaysians. The ranking was made possible with the help of social media ratings and reviews provided by individuals who have experienced the hospital services. Private hospitals with less than 50 reviews have not been included in the ranking to ensure that enough opinions are available to make the rating valuable.
